1U Rack Shelf Sides

This allows you to build a 1U shelf for a 19" rack common in audio and server hardware. Note that I don't recommend using it for anything that has to be road-worthy.

Needed Materials:
- 3mm plate, 442*195mm
- 6x M3*20 countersunk screws
- 6x M3 nuts

The plate width should be within one or two millimeters or it won't fit a standard 19" rack. The length however can be a bit longer (I used 225mm).

The screws can be longer (theoretically up to 44.45mm without interfering with the unit above). The screws can also be thicker if you drill out the holes.

Assembly:
Cut your plate to size and drill and countersink the holes. To get them in the right position, I clamped the sides to the plate and used them as a jig.
