Very simple base to make a 2.4Ghz MOXON ANTENNA specially suited for RC Transmitters with and external JR type bay. I designed this simple Moxon to improve the range as the original Happy Model 2.4Ghz antennas were ok, but not very well tuned. This is a very simple yet effective directional antenna that will add an extra 5 dBi gain compared to a simple dipole antenna. It is directional so keep in mind that it is better to always fly your craft pretty much in front of you. I used the MOXGEN calculator and then tested the antenna with a NANOVNA and got pretty low SWR of approximately 1.14 throughout the whole 2.4Ghz bandwidth.
