2.5" Cannonball: Ninja Warrior Series

thingiverse

This model is a 2.5" cannonball that replicates the cannonball holds from the TV show "American Ninja Warrior." It can be printed using typical PLA filament (no pesky ABS) and is strong enough to hold roughly 250 pounds with roughly 70 percent infill. To assemble the hold, one 3/8" x 3" eye bolt as well as one 3/8" hex nut is required. The hex nut can be slid into the hexagonal underside of the hold, and the eye bolt can then be screwed in. The hole is a naturally tight fit, so it may take a minute or so to screw the eye bolt in completely. Once all of the thread is covered by the thread-guard--the cylindrical top of the cannonball--and the hex nut has grasped around the eye bolt, the assembly is finished. Now, all you need is some rope (to be strung through the eye bolt) and a place to hang it up. Then, you'll have a fully-functional ANW cannonball!
