A bottle spout for a 2.5gal water jug typically found in US grocery stores under a couple of brands. The idea being a spout-valve combination we are all very familiar with that we can just slap on a bottle and start using once assembled. The bottle cap section is intended to be printed out of a flex filament. The rest can be printed from whatever plastic you deem to be food safe. I claim no responsibility for any choices you make that may harm yourself or others. Currently it does leak. One of the leaks I observed was at the screw, so that's just a matter of bad o-ring choice. The other leak is a design flaw, water is able to flow around the valve when in the closed position and drip out. I have a few ideas in mind to maybe solve it but allowing myself time to mull over them and use the faulty part before I choose which to pursue. Update: Changes are likely coming soon. I had to stop working on this when I noticed my PTFE tube was burning at the temps needed to print the flex and PETG. At 235C I was getting maybe 2 hours of printing before the tube end started to degrade and hurt the plastic flow. At the 245C the flex requires it scorches the end of the tube. Have Capricorn XS on it's way to solve that problem.
