Although 2.5" hard drives should be silent, some are not ;-) Also this is an quick and easy way to fit your 2.5" drive into a 3.5" cage. You NEED two thicker rubber bands / rings for this! I used those from the "Sharkoon vibe fixer" which is basically the same but for 3.5" drives in a common 5.25" slot. Works ONLY with BeQuiet (Silentbase) hard drive cages!
