2.5 inch Screw-On Shop Vac Fitting for use with Dust Collection Hose

Wanted to connect proper dust collection hose to my Shop Vac, but couldn't find an easy way to do it without destroying the Shop Vac hose that I had. Designed to use standard 2.5 inch dust collection hose with a hose clamp. Upoaded STL files, as well as OBJ, STEP, and IGES files in case anybody wants to change the hose sizes. UPDATE: I modified the hose end fitting to make it 2.4 inches, which makes it easier to get dust collector hose on as long as you use a pipe clamp Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 50% Notes: Printed in PLA with 50% infill and 2 walls. Printed in three parts - the Screw End fitting, the Hose End fitting , and the Vac End fitting. Print as oriented in the .stl files. Make sure that you calibrate your printer so that you can scale appropriately and the part dimenaions are accurate. Post-Printing Assembly Instructions The flat, non-stepped area of the Vac End fitting faces the Shop Vac and the flange bears against the male end of the Shop Vac port. The Screw End fitting is screwed on to the threads on the Shop Vac port, and then the Hose End Fitting is inserted into the stepped end of the Vac End Fitting and glued using epoxy or super glue.
