2-axis camera head with harmonic drives

This is a camera pan-tilt head that , with the right controllers, can be used for motion control or remote control. It is build around 2 harmonic drives used for CNC and has a payload of approx. 10 kg. It can handle most modern Cinema cameras, can pan L / R 180 degrees and tilt +/_ 90 degrees (depending on the camera size). On this Facebook forum you can see the head in action:https://www.facebook.com/rob.e.vangelder/videos/3287692964677325 I use this for my motion control rig and it is able to create repeatable moves without backlash that can be matched/overlaid in SFX programs. Depending on the used motor-drives, this can be a very fast camera-head! Total weight in my setup approx. 11,4 kg with Michell mounting plate and Arri Sliding plate. This is "lightweight" compared to the original 2-axis head that I used and weighed 36 kg! (but has higher payload). The use of modern cameras makes that head too big, heavy and compromised!
