2-axis Filament Guide

I experimented with various filament guides but each one introduced additional force and vibration into my printer's chassis. After a brief period, the filament left noticeable marks on the surface of the guides, prompting me to create my own design. I had a few spare 628ZZ bearings lying around, so I utilized them to develop a rolling axis and turning axis. My latest iteration is now in use on my printer. To ensure precise fitment, I opted for zero tolerance in the design. If the axes were slightly oversized, I would carefully sand them down until they fit perfectly. For this project, you will need two bearings with specific dimensions: an outer diameter of 24 mm, an inner diameter of 8 mm, and a height of 8 mm.
