2 Axis Gimbal for Directional Lighting

2 Axis Gimbal for Directional Lighting

pinshape

2 axis gimbal which was optimized for directional lighting. The rotation joints print in place, and there are bumpers to add friction to the rotation so after the angle is set it will stay in place. You can sand the bumpers to change the friction of the rotation. There are four 4mm mounting holes on the base, and the socket is designed for a ceramic GU10 light-socket with an OD of 28mm. I used these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015OLHF34/?coliid=I1B7HFO3HLRCPP&colid=2VFGUXWPUDPWM&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it These GU10 sockets will work with any GU10 bulb. There are two versions, one prints without supports by using bridges to provide floating platforms. To clean the part, you just snip the bridges off! The bottom ones can be a bit tricky, I'd like to revisit them soon.
