I was looking for a housing for my Sonoff Dual, flashed with Tasmota, to allow independent remote control of two lamps via Amazon Echo. I used old wall sockets leftover from the last renovation. This is my first design from scratch - so keep in mind there may be details that could have been done better or differently (see my list below). But overall, I'm happy and it's working well. Below are some helpful tips to consider when using this design: - All holes (except those holding the Sonoff) are made for M3x20 screws. However, I think M3x15 would be a better fit. - Reuse the screws that come with a Sonoff to mount it on the base plate. - I overcomplicated some of the part holding the wall socket, resulting in the need for supports. Actually, it's designed specifically for the sockets I have, which are quite unique. You might need to change this to fit your own sockets. - The diameter for the cable holder is designed for an 8mm cable, which might be a bit too wide (6-7 mm would have been enough). Therefore, I had to use some tape to make the cable thicker. - Although the print still fit on my Prusa I3 MK3S, the print bed was almost at its limits. - I printed it in PLA with 0.2mm layer thickness and used 100% infill for maximum stability where screws are placed. Since I only needed one of this design, I have no motivation to improve it - but I'm excited to see what remixes the community might come up with... And remember: when building your own, you're dealing with up to 230V on your own risk!
