2 Foot Long Shower Squeegee

This is a longer squeegee used to wipe water off of smooth surfaces. My shower doors and window are almost 24" in width so one swipe per panel is all that's needed. This assembly consists of the following components... (2) One half printed squeegee body (2) 6 inch metal clothes hanger rod (1) 24 inch or longer windshield wiper (lowest cost works fine) Instructions I was tired of using a small 8" squeegee for my shower. I thought, if it were twice as long, I could finish in half the time. This is a two part print. I used my See Me CNC Delta printer which can print taller parts than many. There are two files, one with a base and one without. The base is used for stability and I also placed weights on it as it was printing. (Part moves a bit while printing, so do not hold the print in place with you hand, just let it print). There are two holes inside used to hold the two sections together. I used a typical metal hanger and cut two pieces and pushed into the holes. I used a windshield wiper blade from a local auto store. The blade was a bit difficult to slide through the slot but you can do it. After blade insertion was complete I just trimmed the ends. So my wife and I have been using this thing for about 1 year. Its awesome. She doesn't really like the appearance but I said it matches the tent dome on the top of the shower to keep steam in (which is the best thing I've made). We've reduced the shower squeegee time from 20 seconds to 10 seconds. This tool saves me about 1 hour of my life per year from squeegeeing the darn shower doors. I also added a photo of a screw up, one of the delta arms was caught by the feed tube and one axis didn't print. Its now art on my desk. Great item for BB&B shelves. Enjoy!
