2 Part Adjustable Wedge

2 Part Adjustable Wedge

This is a 2 part wedge, used to keep my oven steady. I installed these between the oven and the cupboards in order to stop the oven from wobbling when we walk past. The model is a 2 part print: Wedge A has a nut trap for an M5 nut sit in. Wedge B has a slot for an M5 bolt to slide up and down in. Included is the OpenSCAD file for anyone to make adjustments to. The variables at the top of the file are self explanatory, because without the variables, these wedges would be useless to everyone else. I would love to see what else this model can be used for. These were printed on a RepRap Prusa i2, in Black PLA. Instructions You will need a nut and bolt per wedge pair (I used M5 30mm long machine screws). The STL files uploaded here are for height of 14.5mm, in order to get the most out of the model please use the OpenSCAD file to customise some of the variables: Length, Width, Bolt Size (if different to M5), Height - This was the most critical (The gap between my oven and cupboards). Uncomment each model at the bottom to export your STL. Play around and let me know how it goes. I've only done a few models in OpenSCAD (or at all), so go easy on me. Any feedback would be welcome. I printed with Black PLA 1.75mm, 0.24mm layer height, 40% Infill, active cooling, no support.
