Replacement print for a 2006 Chevrolet automatic transmission button. Somehow the lower tab snapped off my button, so naturally I had to print a replacement. Printed in ABS and smoothed using Acetone for the shiny finish. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 100% Notes: Material: Black ABS Nozzle Temperature: 245°C Bed Temperature: 100°C Bed: Glass + Hairspray Post-Printing Acetone Smoothing Tall Large Ikea Pruta Food Container (http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/60149673/) (or any suitably sized Polypropylene container). 4 Paper towels cut to size and draped down each side of container touching the bottom to wick up liquid. 80mL Acetone soaking paper towels (pure 100% acetone nail polish remover from local store). Part hung via packing twine not touching sides. Vapour exposure time: 45min. *Note: Acetone vapour is highly flammable, I did this outdoors.
