This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 After the production line for the VI-10 ended in 2007, Cobalt was out from the spotlight and was nearly out of the motoring industry. The company was near to being bankrupt after releasing several hundred models of the VI-10, it was proven to be too expensive for them. However, in the end of 2007, they had hope. It was then bought by the Japanese and was completely renewed, reorganized, and redesigned for the years ahead of them. One of their examples were this, the Grand Silican Coupe. It is mainly made for the Japanese domestic market, with it's scratch-made 4.0 liter V8 that conducts 330HP. It has a 0-100 time in just over 4.7 seconds, and an unlimited top speed of 170MPH. The Coupe has been renewed to rival luxury car models like Mercedes, Lexus and other common luxury car producers. Although, one enormous rival stands firm in their way, which is Mitsuoka. They perhaps use the same criteria on their design, and is a big threat to Cobalt. The starting price of the Coupe was RM600,340 in Malaysia, JPY19,525,650 in Japan, EUR148,830 in most European countries, and THB53,140,950 in Thailand under a slightly smaller 3.0 liter engine.
