Edit: Improved the design for strength and to accommodate for these fin things that stick up in the way. 2014 Suburban door pull broke inside - plastic just fell apart. This design sort of replaces the "bones", protecting what is left. I cleaned out what plastic scraps were hanging on, pulled the foam out, but left the "leather" Removed a little wide scoop-shaped panel at the bottom-back of the handle's well. Just popped out no problem. Printed in PETG for Texas heat. Well, I am about to, pictured is a PLA (draft speed) prototype to make sure it would fit and work like I expected. It did. Takes some maneuvering to get it in there, but the groove I made slots over the plastic of the door panel just right. (You can see it in the second picture) When you grab the handle, the part of the print that is behind that lip does the pulling so not much pressure is put on the "leather" strap. Anyway, good luck, I hope it helps.
