The aftermarket console tray is tricky to grip due to its snug fit and almost imperceptible angled dividers. This results in a 1" wide tab that can be easily grasped and lifted, allowing the tray to be removed. To secure it, you'll need to drill a hole through the tray for a screw. I used my slicer's cut function to create a small recess on the bottom of the tray, making it easier to hold in place while drilling. The rubber mat will require some trimming with scissors to fit perfectly.
