Update 11/2/20: As many of you might know (I didn't!) you don't need this part if you remove the interfering pins using a plyer or a file, as @8Atena pointed in comments. I still like this but it is then unnecessary. -------------------------------------------- My 2040 corner brackets don't work when I place an extrusion sideways, as the pins that should enter the slot now have no place to engage and don't sit properly, scratching the aluminium. I guess there are properly designed corner brackets for that purpose, but 2 minutes and a few tests in Fusion 360 were a quicker fix. These adapters might only fit some corner brackets and extrusions, as they are tight in my setup. These are the measurements: Single corner bracket adapter: 18 x 18 x 2,6 mm pins width 5 mm pins height 1.8 mm slot width 5 mm slot depth 1,7 mm dual slot corner bracket adapter: Two single slot brackets with a 2 mm separation Be aware that you might need longer screws to use this, as it separates the parts more than the pins alone. I might try to learn how to program Openscad and made it parametric in the future. This is just a quick fix to keep working in my Anet AM8 chassis. Note: The pictures are from an early prototype. Published parts are slightly thinner.
