LED Strip Rail with Diffuser: A Customizable and Durable Lighting Solution. The rail.json file contains presets for OpenSCAD's built-in customizer, allowing users to tailor the design to their needs. Included STL files provide parts for both solid and hollow printing modes. Vase mode printing is facilitated by `*-solid.stl` parts, while `*-hollow.stl` parts feature a 0.8mm wall thickness. To accommodate different parameters, the Customizer can be used to make adjustments as needed. I utilized an SMD 5730 warm white LED strip, measuring 10 mm in width and featuring 60 LEDs per meter. The ABS-printed rail effectively withstands the heat generated by the LEDs. However, PETG may soften slightly after several minutes of operation, but it still functions adequately. For those concerned about PETG softening, alternatives include using transparent ABS, a less powerful LED strip, or disabling the diffuser altogether by setting `enable_diffusor` to `no`.
