2020 aluminium frame squaring tool

I have had constant issues with my xyz carve so I thought I would just pull it apart and try and rebuild and add in some extra support for the bed, and change out the single piece of mdf for strips that can be replaced more easily while I am at it. First I wanted to make sure that I squared up the frame as best I could and this is what I came up with because I was having issues trying to measure it by myself. Basically it is a 3d printed rightangle piece that has tabs that go into the slots of the aluminium and has a brace with a slot to put in the tape measure and then I reference the 90 degree bracket on the opposite side.
