2020 LED Lighting Mount - HyperCube CoreXY

<p>I decided to add LED lighting to my completed HyperCube but I wanted it to be neat and non-intrusive. The LED Strip aluminum extrusion I chose included the diffuser, end caps, and mounting brackets. The end caps could have been used but the brackets would not work with the 2020 extrusion of the printer. I decided to combine end caps with mounting brackets. I created a set of brackets which hold the aluminum extrusion inside the top frame without interference with the XY movement. My installation lights 3 sides. These brackets work with any 2020 extrusion and can be used with any size printer just by cutting the aluminum extrusion to the correct length for your printer.</p> <p>Be sure to print the brackets with supports as there are overhangs. You will need 2 dual brackets and one RH and one LH bracket. Apply the LED strip to the extrusions and connect the strips by soldering wires between the strips. I suggest that you hot glue each connection to keep the wires from pulling on the strips. I daisy chained my lights at the front two corners and then ran the wires down the right rear corner.
