SCAD module for a shape that can slide into the slot of 2020 rails, for mounting things to your 2020 rails. It can also make a space between the mounts for a T-slot nut and a hole for it's M4 screw, if needed. I designed this to make slot mounted parts fit more securely (less chance of twisting) while still only using a single T-slot nut. This could also remove some of the load from the area around the M4 screw head. The tall box behind it in the picture is not needed in your code, it just demonstrates how the mounts look when attached to a part. If you are not familiar with SCAD or have not used modules in SCAD. Modules can save a lot of time by not having to create the same code for many different parts. There are two easy ways to use it: Just cut and paste, drop the file in the same folder and have the line "include " at the top of the file. After doing one of the above: then type: 2020SlotMount(SlotMountLength=20); or 2020SlotMountTnutHole(ScrewLengthInPart=6,SlotMountLength=20); in your code. Read the noted in the SCAD file for an explanation of the stuff inside () and what they do. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Notes: If possible, print part with the 2020 slot section placed vertically. Support may be needed if a T-slot nut is used between two sections of slot mount.
