2020 Snowman Christmas Ornament with Gift Compartment

(11 Dec. 20) Updated Model Added: After printing several of these with no supports, then needing to clean up the hat area with a file and sand paper, I decided to make a version that uses supports (minimally). The new version requires less clean up and the hat looks better, IMO. This is a snowman Christmas ornament that is hollow, prints in two halves that fit together, and can hold small items or gifts, such as, electronics, lights, candy, etc. I designed it to fit a SanDisk Ultra USB flash drive (see photos). Depending on your print settings, the combined filament weight of both halves is about 26 grams. You print one of each included object file and clean up any printing gunk. The two halves should fit together fairly well. If the connection points are too tight, sand the posts a bit. The two halves can also be held together somewhat by tying on to the hole in the hat a bow, or by tying on a hanging string, maybe some of that fancy gold stretchy string. With or without support, the face of the hat prints a little flat. I am planning on sanding or filing the surface so that it is a bit more rounded. It is designed to not need support, so there is a little bit of clean up needed. The design can be painted to be more colorful ( see photos). This ornament started out as a simple gift container to hold a flash drive. I have ~175GB of digitized family videos on SanDisk Ultra flash drives that I want to give to family members for Christmas. Based on the size and holiday theme, I decided to build the snowman ornament around the flash drive.
