<p>I used PETG as I'm hoping it will better survive distortion from summer temperatures, but I also tried PLA and the part is more than strong enough for the possible abuse it will get from my dog.</p><p>Printed on edge (cable cutout down) using a Brim and supports for the corner radius and cutout. 20% infill but I reinforced the screw hole with 40%.</p><p>The corner fillet on the plate was a bit ‘damaged’ by the supports but it could be smoothed out with some sanding if required.&nbsp;</p><p>I removed the plastic headlining rivet and screwed the plate on with a #12 csk screw. I think it was about 1 1/2" long because its what I had. Dont overtighten it as you may strip the hole. The screw held the plate on firmly with a medium tightening force.</p><p>The cable can run along under the headlining and be trapped by the door surround which holds it securely. The USB connector is protected within the tube and the cap just finishes it off. No wires for the dog to chew. The camera is a push fit into the tube and can be rotated to suit.</p><p>The F3D file is there incase anyone wants to modify the design maybe to suit other cameras.</p><p>Runtime on my Mini + was 3:29hrs</p><p>Did I mention my dog chews things?</p>
