2040 profile adapter for modular mounting system
thingiverse
I needed an adapter for a phone mount that this guy cleverly designed: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2194278. That fit perfectly in my Artillery Sidewinder aluminum extrusion. The Sidewinder actually uses a 20x60 extrusion, but I didn't need a cap that large, so I made one more generic. Print it like the image shows with support, and make sure to give a significant XY distance between your support and the part (1.2mm worked great for me and was easy to remove afterwards). There are four holes for M2 screws and nuts if you want to make it sturdier, but that's optional. If you're not hanging anything heavy, you might be able to get away without it.
