Here's a custom design spool holder to hang the filament off the top of the Tevo Black Widow frame without adding much more overall height to the printer. There's a couple of different designs as pictured. I've personally only printed the plain frame and the tall spindle ends. I made the adjustments to the file afterwards. The tubing used is pvc pipe with an outer diameter of 21.5mm cut to length. The spindle ends are a VERY tight fit and won't come out again once fitted. Hanging the spindle off the top rear of the frame like I have done in the pictures will add a lot of extra pulling weight to the frame so make sure it's nice and secure or you may get some movement in your prints. The spool holder is a very tight fit, but it does fit. Just hook the small kick part in underneath first and then lower the frame over the back. The holder had to be able to be attached securely without to the use of T-Nuts or fasteners. (because I'm lazy and didn't want to go to the hardware store, haha) From there I measured out the 2080 profile and went to town in Autodesk Maya. After printing a thinner test print without the crossframe I found the design to already be pretty strong. It flexed a lot but held over 1kg on it's own. After printing the full design with the cross frames the thing does not move at all.
