20S Yeast proteasome

thingiverse

Molecular surface representation of yeast proteasome from PDB 1FNT. Each of the components (alpha in green, beta in blue, and caps in red) were rendered separately and printed in different colored PLA. The beta catalytic domain was sliced in half and a hole for a pin helping the assembly was created. One cap, one alpha, and half a beta subunit were glued together. Matching the cap with the alpha subunit was difficult, some pieced from the cap had to be broken and glued back together.
