22LR Storage Tray-Pelican 1040/1050

This STL model is based on inches, not mm.... This is a 22LR storage solution for LaPua and SK style ammo trays... The tray will hold four 50 round SK/Lapua, ammo trays and fit nicely in a Pelican 1040/1050 micro storage case. The tray does not sit on the bottom of the case, leaving a little run to store the empty (flat folded) ammo cartons. The tray was designed for use with the solid cover 1040 or 1050... On the solid cover boxes, the lid has a foam liner which will prevent the rounds from moving. This tray will also work with the clear lids cases, you will simply have a small gap between the top of the round and the case. I recommend if using the tray with the clear case, you put a 5mm piece of foam over the rounds before closing the case...I have included a photo of the foam I'm using, it was purchased from my local Hobby Lobby...
