A friend bought the 48x96in. version of this table as a kit and I ended up with it after it was replaced with a commercial table a while ago. It was always a challenge to keep the bearings replaced/adjusted. Somewhere along the way we replaced the Z axis with Thomson rails, bearings, and upgraded to a 3 phase spindle. I wouldn't suggest building this table or any portion of it unless you enjoy misery equal to what he suffered over the years. Not my model or design.608 bearings on cold rolled steel. Rack and pinion and NEMA 34's on X and Y.
