A case for a 25 pin D Sub connector, with cable exit on end. I designed this for use with Servo drives for a CNC project. It required that I fit 3x CAT7 cables. This is why the outlet tube is such a large diameter. I designed this to use a 70mm length of heat shrink sleeving over the outlet, to act as strain relief. I printed mine in PETG, as that is what I was printing with at the time. I should think PLA will work fine for some project as will many other ridged filaments. DO NOT forget to put a little support under the outlet when you Slice this. At time of publishing, this is still a work in progress! I designed this on Fusion 360 (which I am just learning) This is one of my first designs and the first ever shared. I welcome any CONTRUCTIVE feedback. EDIT (19.5.2020) I have now printed a couple of these for a friend of mine. I did those ones in PLA. They came out O.K., but I have reprinted them at 0.1 layer height and the case joint fit is a lot better. ( I did design a tiny bit of clearance in, but not a lot). so if you have joining issues, this would seem to be the fix.
