This is a Pad Eye that is used for lifting heavy objects or anchoring heavy objects to decks of ships. This particular one is welded to a structure and is beveled for welding. The lifting capacity of one Pad Eye is 25 metric tons. This Pad Eye is designed to accept a Crosby G-2130 Bolt type Shackle, 1 3/4” nominal size, which also has a 25 ton lifting capacity. I have included a STEP file for CAD systems other than Solidworks 2014.
