Use your old 250ml cans to purify water with this solar still 3D print using the power of sunlight! Benefits Use nothing but the energy of the sun to purify or desalinate water;Upcycle your used 250ml beverage containers;Uses just 11 grams of PLA filament;Prints easily (no advanced settings or support material required);Great for preppers and survivalists;On a sun day, I used one of these stills to purify 150 ml of water in 4 hours. Instructions Print the solar still and rim using standard settings for PLA filament. No support material required;Remove the top of your 250ml can with a can opener, and clean up the rim with scissors;Fold saran wrap (or similar) over the still frame, and use the rim to secure it in place;Use Scissors to trim the excess saran wrap; (Optional) 1/4" vinyl tube can be inserted into the drip hole on the bottom of the still to direct the purified water into a catch basin for drinking. Fill the can with salty or dirty water, place the still on top, and place in direct sunlight.   Caution, I can make no guaranteed that water will be 100% pure or safe to drink.
