This is a Mortise Lock Holder for Locksport practice. It works with locks such as the Schlage-compatible locks that Sparrows ships with their [Sceptre],(https://www.sparrowslockpicks.com/product_p/kiltar.htm) or the [CI Practice Lock](https://covertinstruments.com/collections/training-gear/products/ci-practice-lock) from Covert Instruments. The design is heavily based on [The Universal Lock Holder](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3115194/files) by Trekmaster30, but I started from scratch, and so I didn't classify it as a remix. I believe my design improves upon the original in a few ways: - The finger grips on the original were cool, but kind of forced you to hold the lock in a very specific way. This grip feels better in my hands. - The bottom is solid, which just distributes the weight a little more evenly. - The lock face is recessed to sit flush. I think it looks better that way. - The inside opens up so that the lock core can freely turn 90 degrees. In the original design I feared that I may actually pick the lock and not realize it because the core couldn't rotate very far. I highly recommend printing it using Cura's experimental "fuzzy skin" feature, as I did in the thumbnail preview. It uses a standard m3 x 0.5 trapped nut, and you can use a standard m3 screw, or a thumb screw, as pictured, for tool-free removal of the lock. I originally printed this in PLA, but I would like to try it in TPU for maximum comfort.
