2AA Battery Box with Switch

<p>A battery box for 2 AA batteries fitted with a slide switch and using common battery contact plates 25 x 12.7 mm and ~15 mm terminal spacing</p> <p>The photographs show my 1.0 version, which used coutnsunk screws to hold the switch in from above; this required modification of the switch to remove the threads and then countersinking of the holes</p> <p>Required for assembly</p> <ul> <li><p>Base & Lid</li></p> <li><p>2 battery contact plates, 25 x 12.5 mm, eg <a href="https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351641828842?">Keystone 5212</a> One fo the plates should cut in 2 for use at the switch end; alternatively 2 separate plates can be used.
