2mm timing belt joiner/tensioner

This thing is for joining the ends of a timing belt. I made it when my Ultimaker developed a loose belt and there was no way to tighten it as it just had a spring tensioner on it. I prefer a split belt anyway as if you need to replace it you don't have to disassemble the machine! Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Medium Infill: 50% minimum Notes: The 2 covers are held on by four 2.4 mm x 5mm hex head screws. Instead of tapping the holes on the body I used 2.5mm threaded inserts that are inserted using a soldering iron to heat them enough to melt their way in. Really great fit and very snug. The inserts are from McMaster Carr, PN 94180A333. About $15 for 100, worth the expense imo.
