this is a modular frame for use with battletech Hex terrain tiles or any terrain tiles of the same size. I came up with this design to work with my Magnetic Hex Tile Terrain and allows use of those tiles without magnetizing them (except the hill tiles and the terrain used on them. They will still need to be magnetized.) The frame pieces use the OpenLOCK connector design to clip together. You can use as is or mount the frame to a flat board. If not mounted to a flat board it needs to be used on a smooth flat and level playing space. You get all the files to print the pieces shown in the first pic of this listing. Each piece is a seperate STL file. You will need to remove the 2 pre rendered supports from the OpenLOCK connector opening on each end of the frame parts.
