3.5 Inch HDD Storage Box

3.5 Inch HDD Storage Box

I'm a PC part hoarder. I've got 30+ 3.5 inch HDDs laying around. Don't be like me. But if you are, here's a solution to some obscure issue of yours. Mine was that the cardboard box housing these drives got too small and ended up breaking. This storage solution (pun intended) holds seven 3.5 inch hard drives at a time. Your infill percentage and pattern should reflect the kinds of drives you plan to store - 1TB WD Blues from 2016 on aren't very weighty, so you could get away with 5-10%. 16TB Seagate Exos drives are VERY weighty, and you should probably use 20% or higher infill. Printed with 0.16mm resolution, because it's still less of an eyesore than what you were using previously. Besides, who wants to wait 2 days for a print as utilitarian as this? Not me. Feel free to remix, redistribute, resell, whatever. Just don't @ me when the box breaks because you printed with too little infill. TL;DR - Enjoy the storage storage solution. I'm not responsible for your damaged hard drives or printers.
