This is a generic 3.5 inch sata drive. The primary reason was to make a hdd case where the outer dimensions and mounting options need to be correct. - Unbelievable, this does not exist in 2021 yet for solidworks...The model is relatively low detailed and thus performs great in 3d modeling situations. All required elements are visible for visualisaton purposes.Please take note that hdd's vary in their forms and structures. I would not bet on the exact locations of the sata connector pins or the pcb for instance.The mounting holes and outer Dimensions should be on point (modeled from technical drawings)
