3.5" to dual 2.5" HD conversion bracket

<p>Bracket to mount two 2.5" (laptop) hard drives in place of a single 3.5" (desktop) hard drive.</p> <h3>Instructions</h3> <p>I didn't require support material (The overhangs are gradual). This is intended to be used with M3 hardware (which is what hard drives normaly use).</p> <p>The slots for the m3 nuts are intentionally a bit tight to prevent spinning once installed. If you have trouble getting them in, a trick I use is to hold the nut in place against the slot and heat it up with a soldering iron, once hot it will slide right through the PLA and get locked in place. Note that if you do this, the nut will stay hot for quite awhile because it is only in contact with PLA which is a relatively poor conductor of heat.</p> Category: Computer
