A ubiquitous sight in any building complex, these communications towers relayed signals across a planetary surface and up to to orbiting satellites.  History: When the Acarian Empire encountered the alien race at the Tau Librae system, they were believed to be indigenous, although the Binary system did not appear capable of producing advanced life. It was later discovered that this was a multiple stellar system-spanning society with origins in the Sigma Rho system. Tensions have been high with the 'race' known simply as 'Sigma Rho' since the alien’s culture consists of many consortiums cooperating together and view the Imperial Acarian Dynasty as an opposing societal system.
