3 AA Battery holder

3 AA Battery holder

thingiverse

This is a holder for 3 AA batteries. This component should produce about 4.2 volts if the batteries are alkaline and fully charged. I used this thing as a power supply for my ATMEGA328p-pu (an Arduino). 4.2 volts is a good amount to use to power any 5V component using AAs; if you use 4 AAs you would be giving too much power, but giving slightly under power should work fine. See how to assemble the batteries in a series below in the Post-Printing area. FYI: The hole in the middle of this thing is for some wires to go down if you don't have much space for wires around this thing (like I did in the picture attached).
