3 Axis Antenna Mount For RC Models *w/stir sticks /

Update 1/24/2018 Guys are wanting a small mount for their Foamies. I've added a small antenna mount for Foamies or extra tight spaces. There is enough room on back for Velcro or 2 face tape. This is a 3 axis antenna guide for RC Models. I couldn’t find a 3 axis and found that because of the position of the antennas and clearance inside the model I had to be creative with the mounting. I fly large scale models but this should work well for any RC model that has extended antennas. I decided to add the Z axis mounting point to alleviate this problem and have not seen one with 3 axis’. You will need to get 2 stir/swizzle sticks from your local tavern or eatery. Typically these are stiffer 3mm diameter tubes. Select the 2 axis points you want your antenna to run and apply CA glue to the stick and insert it into those holes in the mount. The fit is tight enough if you want to wick thin CA in the perimeter of the stick. Make sure your tubes aren’t pushed more than a mm or so from the exit of the hole to the inside. If you do just cut it back flush with the hole exit point. Please, if you print this or remix the design leave the “P” in the extrusion to show it is my design sweat. These are very secure and give you a multitude of mounting choices. Have fun! Dave
