3-Axis Brushless Gimbal Camera Offset Plate

This is an offset plate to easily adjust the balance of a camera (or different ones) on a gimbal. My 3-Axis camera gimbal's plate is mounted on the horizontal rod instead of a cage so adjusting the camera (or hotshot plate) gets very troublesome just for minute adjustments. This raises the set up a couple of centimetres above that plate (but secured to it by two tripod screws) and allows sliding to the millimetre and secured in place with two small screws in the side. Other parts needed: 3 tripod screws 2 washers Stoppers: 4 sets of M3 bolts and nuts (about 6mm long would suffice) - you could do with one on each end really if they don't affect your X axis balance, these are just to prevent the plate from sliding OFF! 2 M3 screws (about 10-12mm long) Steps: Print base and plate (obviously) Install base to gimbal plate (2 tripod screws) - Note: washers are to elevate the base about half to 1mm to allow sliding plate some free movement and also clearance from M3 screws) Install one set of stoppers on base Install one tripod screw underneath sliding plate Install your quick release hotshot base (or your camera) to sliding plate Install two M3 side screws (these are your "brakes") Insert sliding plate onto base Stop playing with the slider :) Install other set of stoppers
