This is an extension of my recent upload (of a coin in a sphere). This time with a small sphere inside a larger sphere inside a larger sphere... I stopped at a total of three. You may have noticed that the large green sphere is a little smaller than the large red sphere and I've uploaded stl files for sphere 1 of 3, the smallest through to 2 variants of sphere 3 of 3, the largest. I've also uploaded an scad file. The design is fully parameterised and comment heavy so it should not be difficult to generate your own spheres. Instructions I made the spheres with an Ultimaker fitted with an E3D hot end so the stl files work with that set up. There is enough room to pop the smaller sphere(s) into place when the build has got high enough while the print is in progress. The scad file has a cut away preview of a sphere inside another as a help to judging whether enough clearance has been chosen. I made the spheres in different colours, partly so the photos would be more understandable, and partly just to make the point that this was not constructed from a single piece. Three (or more!) of the same colours would look rather cool, though...
