3-piece Quad Skate Plate for Rollerskates Roller Skate

This is a 3-piece plate for quad skates. This plate is sized to be used with a Riedell R3 size 9 boot and is equivalent in size to a Powerdyne Thrust size 7 plate. This plate is 3 pieces for two reasons: my printer doesn't have a large enough print area to make it in one piece and the separate middle section is easier to shrink (or stretch) to resize the plate. This should be considered an experimental or recreational grade plate. It is pretty light but I'm sure it's not as strong, rigid, or durable as a factory made plate. This plate uses two bolts to hold it all together. They are round head #10-24 4-inch bolts and nuts. If you make the middle section shorter, you can also use shorter bolts. The plate uses the same hardware (kingpins, pivot cups, trucks, toe stop insert) as the Powerdyne Thrust plate. The kingpins and pivot cups are both 15-degrees. The photos above are v11 of this design. I have made a few small changes for the attached v12 files. It took me a long time to get around to it but I finally skated on a pair of these plates for about 20 minutes. I skated gently, no jumps or aggressive moves and they worked just fine. Toe Stop Clearance: The toe stop is a bit closer to the front axle than the Powerdyne Thrust. After assembling this I found there was very little clearance between the front wheels and the toe stop (the larger one is a Crazy Big Bloc toe stop).
