One of my dogs gets freaked out by storms and beeping smoke detectors, and has destroyed 3 baby gates (as I keep replacing them) at the top of the stairs. I don't know how to weld, so I've used zip ties, tapes, and now I'm going to try these spindle connectors/braces to try to repair the damage he's done. not using the gate to protect any young ones anymore, and I wouldn't use this fix on a gate intended for that use. Just trying to extend the life of this gate. I used Tinkercad and Meshmixer to make the middle spindle holder go all the way through and extend the spacing between spindles an additional 14mm or so. (Thanks for the initial design @D3vilkin!)
