This adapter fits 3" spiral venting hose, commonly used for venting dryers and other similar appliances perfectly. I designed a litter box ventilation system using an old computer fan and needed a reliable way to connect the fan to the hose and the box directly to the hose. Its snug fit includes a slight lip that prevents the hose from coming loose, eliminating the need for any kind of zip tie or clamp.
