This is a ground up remix of WashMan03's trim jig for trimming 223/556 cases for forming into 300 AAC. I redesigned it specifically for the Harbor Freight 2" cutoff saw, part number 62136. The tool is available from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/LuckyHigh-Benchtop-Cut-Off-Cutting-Plastic/dp/B0983BZWKT?dchild=1&keywords=2"+cutoff+saw&qid=1634500795&sr=8-11&linkCode=sl1&tag=3rdpig-20&linkId=95b5f6e2d6c19eefa7fbd9374f032afd&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl. I added a profile on the bottom that matches the profile of the base of the saw's vice, this locks the jig into position the same each and every time and also helps ensure that the jig is flat against the bottom. Trim length is now adjustable via a thumbscrew at the end of the jig. I added a nut to lock the thumbscrew, but honestly once you get your trim length set the way you like you could just add a drop of superglue to the threads. One could also add threaded insert and add a steel or brass screw and nut. I think you'll get the best luck printing this if you print the jig in it's upright position using support. Print the flat thumbscrew on it's side with support. The nut can be printed flat with no support. I used PLA but anything would work fine. Layer height and line with really doesn't matter.
