This is a project I have worked on for a while because I love the 3018 CNC, but the z-axis height is too short. So I extended the height of the z-axis. You will need to buy some new parts, a 8mm rod cut to 130mm [Banggood link](https://www.banggood.com/custlink/mKDyJMb1Hc) Also the T8 8mm lead screw [Banggood link](https://www.banggood.com/custlink/DDmyp2A755) You need to drill holes and thread the rods, or do as I did because I don't have the tools to do that and tension the rods. Only other thing to do is to dissemble the old z-axis and takes the parts out of the old axis and in to the new and it should work. It will work with both the normal and pro version of the 3018 CNC.
