3030 Articulated Camera Arm

3030 Articulated Camera Arm

thingiverse

An articulated and adjustable webcam mount for my Prusa Mk3S. It mounts to the 3030 extrusion of the bed frame with an M4 t-nut and a 12mm countersunk screw. The arms are tight, but adjustable (0.2mm tolerance), and assembled with m3 screws and nuts. The camera mount is designed to fit a screw up to 7mm, so a standard tripod screw will easily fit. The design is plenty strong and will support webcams, GoPros and anything else ~150g. Update 03/31/21: I designed a dedicated GoPro mount. It requires a single M5 nut. You can secure the nut with superglue.
