360 Robot Camera Project

Not sure if the 8017 Motors could be used for absolute positioning, or if they are better suited to stabilizing motion. But Hopefully I could make a robotic camera mount with smaller Motors/steppers. Axis at back of camera needs some work, L-Brackets could be bolted direct to motor without the extra parts, but I wanted a way to clamp it and adjust, while also designing a multi functional part. Not sure if having 3 of these motors, close to the camera is a good idea? Some of the Part's are now on Shapeways, https://www.shapeways.com/shops/iso-l8r thought I would give it a try, seems a little pricey, no sure if anyone really sells anything on there. http://iso-l8r.blogspot.co.uk/ All I need now is some hardware & some tracking software or timelapse control software
